My name is Holly, and I have a beautiful daughter called Maeve. When she was born, I struggled with postpartum psychosis, which taught me the importance of having hobbies and things you love to do, even after having a baby. This experience sparked the idea to start my own business, Urban Crafts.
After moving back to Northern Ireland and restarting my business, I noticed there was a limited supply of high-quality, unique yarn, so I started researching how to source my own. That’s how my super chunky hand knitting yarn line was born. My yarn is OEX-Tex certified, meaning it’s been tested for harmful substances to ensure it’s safe, environmentally friendly, and sustainable. This certification gives you peace of mind knowing that the yarn you’re working with is high quality and free from harmful chemicals.
